Last year, after yet another high energy bill (our home is total electricity), my wife and I decided to investigate other alternatives. At the Del Mar home show we spoke with representatives of Alternative Energy Technologies. We made an appointment, they came to our house, they walked our property, and they gathered information. Two weeks later they came back and gave us a presentation that would allow us to generate our own energy. We signed on. Our system became operational mid June 2007 and we’ve not paid a bill since. We told AET what we wanted and they showed us what they could provide. They did everything. They had the engineers come out and see where the best place for the panels would be. They had their designers design a system that would provide us the maximum sunlight to generate the maximum amount of energy. To say we are pleased would be an understatement. We love our system and thank AET for helping us achieve energy independence. The investment we’ve made has helped not only us but our environment. I just wanted to share with you my wonderful experience with your company. Having a new home and having had to deal with many contractors and their subs has not been a fun experience, but your company has been fantastic at every step of the way! It has been very refreshing to deal with a very professionally run company with top-notch customer service.

Cassidy Furbush (sales rep) provided me with all information I needed and then some. He was very attentive to my needs and returned phone calls immediately and checked in with me even after his job was complete. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the products and always got an answer for me right away if he did not already know it.

James, was amazing at how quickly he drew up our plans, and presented me with all of the material that I needed to provide our HOA. I also really appreciate how quickly he got our plans approved, even after the city changed the process on him! The roofing crew was also fantastic. I was impressed by the speed that everything was done, and how clean the surrounding areas were even after removing parts of the roof!
I was even more surprised with my dealings with the installer (Joel) and his crew. It is not often that you come across someone so professional. His English was excellent and I could understand him completely. He explained to me everything that he was doing and kept me up-to-date with the progress. He always left the work area clean and neat with nothing laying around – I would have never known they were there! I felt very comfortable knowing that our panels and wiring were installed correctly by him and look forward to turning them on!

The office staff that I dealt with (Kim, Tracy, Ann-Marie, Isha and others) were a joy to deal with. My calls were always returned immediately and any problems resolved efficiently and quickly. There were times when I even received calls from more than one person just to double check that I had been contacted. I have truly enjoyed dealing with your company and wish that more companies would provide the high standard of customer service and excellence that I experienced. I will happily refer AET to any and all who inquire about the company and am happy to be reverence for future customers.

This is a letter of recommendation for Alternative energy Technologies, LLC, Bob Carson and his staff.

Alternative Energy Technologies, LLC installed 24 solar panels and 2 Xantrex grid-tie inverters along with all necessary wiring and safety equipment at my home in Alpine, California during April 2005. Bob and his capable staff handled all aspects of applying for state rebates; obtaining required electrical permits and the utility connection agreement with San Diego Gas and Electric Company.

The panels are on the south facing barn roof at a 30-degree angle. We are producing 8 to 10 kilowatts on a cloudy day or light rainy days, on most sunny days 24-26 kilowatts. This is above our expectations.

I highly recommend Bob and his staff for all alternative energy systems to everyone.
